 France: Amiens Cathedral Drawn by Joseph Pike who was born on 6th March 1883 in Bristol. He was a painter in water-colour of mainly architectural subjects. c1910 - 31 x 42 cm Printed by E W Savory of Park Row Studios, Bristol who flourished between 1889 and 1920 and specialised in photolithography. These prints appear to be lithographs and the plate marks are very obvious on this heavy wove paper. Very faint spotting in outer margins (see images). He was a member of the Society of Graphic Artists (S.G.A.). Pike studied art at Ampleforth College under William James Boddy and exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Society of Graphic Artists and the Pastel Society.
