He was an original member of the Scottish Society of Artists and exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Paris Salon, etc. Signed in pencil by the artist. Framed & glazed. Mount window 17 x 22 cm. Print looks to be in very good order except for faint toning at the edge of the mount window although not examined out of the frame. Hand-coloured. Mount window 140 x 200 mm. Frame overall 255 x 315 mm. James Renwick being led to execution in the Grassmarket in 1688. Renwick was the last Covenanter to be martyred before the accession of William II secured Presbyterianism in Scotland in 1689. Not examined out of frame. Henry George Walker, 1876-1932, was born in Birmingham and attended Birmingham Municipal School of Art between 1897 and 1901.
